Hello, everyone!
Welcome to the section where you can get to know me and my journey a bit better.
Below are some pictures of me if you're curious about who’s behind the articles.
I am 32 years old now, and here's my story.
1992: The Beginning
I was born in the heart of Germany in 1992, just as the digital age was starting to take off. Growing up in a family with Turkish roots, my childhood was filled with adventures that left a lasting impression, all before the digital world became so pervasive.
1997: A Memorable Childhood Adventure
One memory that stands out is what I call the Great Bicycle Catastrophe. As the youngest member of our group, my mission to grab some candy ended when my foot got caught in the bike's chain. That painful experience sparked my interest in innovation, leading me to rethink and rebuild things as I grew older. It was the start of my habit of asking, "What if?" and "Why not?"
2009: Dreams vs. Reality
My childhood dream of football glory gradually gave way to the realities of adult expectations. My parents, full of love and hopes for a secure future, guided me along a path they thought was best. However, I felt a restless energy inside, a desire to carve out my own path and follow my own passions.
2011 - 2014: Apprenticeship Experiences
My apprenticeship was a mix of highs and lows - from tedious reports to invaluable friendships. Through the laughter and shared challenges, I learned that the true essence of work isn't just the tasks you perform but the connections you build with others.
2014 - 2020: University Years: Bridging Fields
During my university years, I explored the intersection of technology, biology, and chemistry. I worked on projects like filtering brain signals with EEG, experimented with hydrogels, built compact circuits, and wrote programming scripts. Each challenge was a stepping stone that deepened my understanding and fueled my passion for discovery.
The Power of Stories
Reading has always been my sanctuary, offering endless worlds and wisdom. From childhood detective stories to complex neuroscience texts, every book fueled my curiosity and encouraged me to explore further.
Reflecting on the Journey and Looking Ahead
Looking back, my journey is a blend of ambition, resilience, and an unending thirst for knowledge. Inspired by Jigoro Kano, the judo pioneer who wanted to be buried in his white belt as a symbol of lifelong learning, I embrace a philosophy of continuous growth and humility. Like Kano, I strive to remain a perpetual student of the world – always curious, always evolving.
Through this narrative, I hope to share my journey from a simple and imaginative childhood, through educational and professional challenges, to a present defined by curiosity and ongoing learning. It's not a straight path of success but a series of twists and turns that reflect the true spirit of exploration and growth – celebrating the unpredictable beauty of life.
